Troubleshooting Presentation Integrator

Make sure Presentation Integrator is using the correct information to connect to Management & Control Services (MCS).
  1. From the Tools menu, click Preferences, and make sure the Server Address, Server Port, User ID, and Password are correct.

    If MCS and Presentation Integrator are installed on the same PC, the Server Address can be localhost. The Server Port must match the port number specified during the installation of MCS. The User ID is typically system, although you can use any user name that has permission to access the MCS console. For the system account, the password is the password specified during the installation of MCS.

    Note If the Authentication Type for console access is Client Certificate Only, Presentation Integrator will not be able to communicate with MCS.
  2. In Presentation Integrator, click Refresh in the Resources pane.
