Modifying a Presentation

To modify a presentation
  1. Create or open a presentation.

  2. Modify the presentation as desired:

    Add a resource to the presentation Click a resource in the Resources pane and drag it to the Design View.

    You can add up to four resources to the presentation.

    Rearrange resources in the presentation Click the resource in the Design View and drag it to the desired location.

    There can be only one or two resources in each row. When there are two resources in a row, the Width property for each resource must be Half Standard. There can be no blank rows between resources.

    Remove a resource from the presentation Click the resource in the Design View and then click Delete Resource from the Edit menu, or right-click the resource in the Design View and then click Delete.
    Change the properties of a resource in the presentation Click the resource in the Design View and then change the properties in the Resource Properties pane.
    Change the background color, background image, presentation display location, or owner name From the Edit menu, click Settings, and then complete the Presentation Settings dialog box.
    Add or change a header or footer Double-click the header or footer area in the Design View and then complete the Edit Header or Edit Footer dialog box.
  3. From the File menu, click Save.

    If you're saving the presentation for the first time, type a name and description for the presentation on the Save Presentation dialog box, and then click Save.

    The presentation remains open until you close it by clicking Close from the File menu.

  • From the File menu, click Publish.

    If the presentation has previously been published, you are prompted to either rename the presentation, overwrite the existing presentation, or cancel. If you overwrite a presentation that is in use, no changes will take effect until the next time the user accesses the presentation.

    As soon as you publish the presentation, it closes in Presentation Integrator.
