Editing ID Properties

The kinds of changes you can make to an ID vary, depending on the type of ID it is. For example, you can change a T27 station ID from a terminal emulation ID to a host printer ID, and vice versa. For a UTS terminal ID, you can change the host applications that a client can access using that ID. For all IDs, you can change the host name alias associated with that ID (if any).

If the edited ID is currently allocated to a client, the changes do not take effect until the client closes and then reopens the session.
