ID Manager allows you to use the tracing function of Management & Control Services (MCS) to log the usage of managed IDs. To do this, you must enable tracing in ID Manager.

When tracing is enabled, ID Manager's allocation of IDs and update of ID status will be slower, due to increased communication with the MCS tracing function. |
When tracing is enabled, ID Manager logs various events in the MCS Event log.
