Allocated IDs: This list displays all of the IDs that are currently in use, and includes the following columns:
You can sort the items in this list by clicking the column headings. For example, to sort the data alphabetically by name, click the Name column heading. Clicking the column heading again reverses the order of the sort.
To resize the columns, move the mouse pointer over the column separator, press and hold down the left mouse button, and move the pointer to the right or left.
This list is blank in the following circumstances:
Available IDs: This list displays all of the IDs that are not currently in use by clients. The ID column displays the ID, and the Name column displays the user name, IP address, DNS name, or address pool to which the ID is assigned. As ID Manager allocates IDs to clients, the IDs move from this list to the Allocated IDs list.
If you haven't assigned any IDs to names yet, this list is blank. As you assign IDs to names, those IDs automatically appear in this list.

Enable/Disable Tracing: Click this button to enable or disable the tracing of ID usage via the tracing function of Management & Control Services (MCS).
Simple Clients: Select this option to display the IDs in use by simple clients in the Allocated IDs list. (A simple client is a client that can request only one ID at a time, such as a networked computer running a viewer or printer applet.) If you clear this option, the Allocated IDs list does not display the IDs in use by simple clients.
Super Clients: Select this option to display the IDs in use by super clients in the Allocated IDs list. (A super client is a client that can request multiple IDs simultaneously, such as a Smart Connector or a custom application developed using the e-Vantage Software Development Kit (SDK) for Unisys Mainframe Customers (UMC).)
If you clear this option, the Allocated IDs list does not display the IDs in use by super clients.
Release ID: Click this button to release an allocated ID so that it can be used by other sessions. You can click this button only if you select an ID in the Allocated IDs list that is in use by a super client, or a simple client's ID that is not active.
