If necessary, there are several options that you can configure in the file idmanager.properties, located in your \mcs\data\mcs\idmanager\ directory. The options control the following:
server.ids.activeinterval.minutes: Set the time interval in minutes that a client must remain inactive before its status is changed in the ID Monitor. After the status has been changed and the client has been designated inactive for a specified period of time, its ID is eligible to be reclaimed by the ID Manager. The default value is 10.
server.expiredids.autoreclaim.after.minutes: Set the time interval in minutes that a client must have been designated inactive in the ID Monitor before its ID is eligible to be automatically reclaimed. When an ID is reclaimed, it is made available to be allocated to another client. The default value is 60.
server.expiredids.autoreclaim: Specify whether or not to automatically reclaim IDs for inactive clients. If this value is set to false, IDs are never reclaimed, regardless of the values set for other properties in this file. You should set this value to true only if you are sure that clients designated as inactive are no longer using IDs assigned to them. Otherwise, there is a risk that duplicate IDs will be issued. The default value is false.
server.expiredids.checktimer.minutes: Set the time interval in minutes for checking IDs to determine whether they are eligible to be reclaimed. The default value is 10. Eligible IDs are reclaimed only at the specified interval.
server.events.enabled: Specify whether or not to log ID management activities, such as requests, renewals, and releases, to the MCS event log. To minimize unnecessary consumption of system resources, you should set this value to true only when troubleshooting ID Manager. The default value is false.
server.autosave: Specify whether or not to automatically save ID Manager data at regular intervals. This includes settings you change in the user interface and changes in status. The default value is true.
server.autosave.timer.minutes: Set a time interval in minutes for automatically saving ID Manager data. The default value is 10.
