View Traces (Select File) Page

Saved Traces: A list of the trace log files that have been saved and are no longer being updated.

File Name—The name of the trace log file. The default trace log file name is TraceLog, which is created automatically by Management & Control Services (MCS).
Entries—The number of trace events that have been recorded to the trace log file.
Created—The date and time at which the trace log file was originally created.
Version—Internal use only. A number that indicates the version of Management & Control Services (MCS) that created the trace log file.
This column may also display the word "Legacy," which indicates a trace file created in a non-MCS format. Legacy trace files are displayed as simple text files.

Currently Active Traces: A list of the trace log files that are currently active (being updated).

Component—The name of the product for which the trace was configured.
Cluster—The name of the server cluster for which the trace was configured.
Style—Indicates whether the trace was configured to trace a single component only (Component), or to trace a transaction across a series of two or more components (End-to-End).

OK: Select a (saved or active) trace file from the list and then click this button to open the file in the View Traces page.

Cancel: Click this button to bypass this page without selecting a log file.
