Using Management & Control Services (MCS), you can specify which events you want to log, the maximum number of log files to save, and the maximum size of each log file. You can also manage log files by closing log files, opening new log files, and deleting old log files as needed.
|To configure event logging
- In the MCS selection panel, point to MCS Functions and then click Events.
The Events tree appears.
- In the Events tree, click Manage Events.
The Manage Events property pages appear in the MCS management panel.
- Configure event logging as needed by modifying the settings on the Settings, File Mgmt, and Filters pages.
For details on any of the options on these property pages, click Help in the upper-right corner of the page.
- Click Save to activate your settings.
