Licensing Permissions Page

License Name: Select the license certificate to which you want to assign permissions. (This list box appears grayed if you selected a specific client license name from the Licensing tree.)

Authentication Type: Select the type of authentication you want to use to control access to the selected client license. Authentication types include:

• Anonymous—No user name or password is required; any client user can access the license certificate.

• User name—No password is required; however, the client user name must be assigned to the license certificate.

• User name/password—Both the client user name and password are required to access the license certificate.

Directory: If User name or User name/password is selected as the authentication type, this field displays a list of the users and/or groups that are defined in the directory service that is configured for MCS.

(If Anonymous is selected as the authentication type, this field is blank, indicating that the license certificate is not limited to any specific users or groups.)

Add>>: Select one or more users and/or groups from the Directory list and then click this button to assign those users or groups permission to the selected license certificate.

Remove<<: Select one or more users and/or groups from the Assigned list and then click this button to remove permission from those users or groups.

Assigned: Displays a list of the users and/or groups that have been assigned permissions to the selected license certificate.

Reset: Click this button to return all of the permission settings to their default values, erasing any changes you have made.

Save: Click this button to save your changes.
