Using the Airlines SDK with Visual Cafe

Before a Visual Cafe project may use Airlines SDK features, the Airlines SDK must be added to the class path. These steps must be repeated for every Visual Cafe project using Airlines SDK. Once completed, the Airlines SDK APIs are accessible within that project. A simple test project is recommended to ensure full functionality before project development.

Note The following steps are based on Visual Cafe v. 4.1.
To include the Airlines SDK COM objects in Visual Cafe
Note In Visual Cafe, Class Path may be set globally (at the developer's discretion, as this will affect all projects).
  1. Create a new Visual Cafe project, or open an existing project.

  2. From the Project menu, select Options.

  3. On the Directories tab of the Project Options dialog box, in the Show Directories For text box, select Input Class Path.

  4. Browse to select the Airlines SDK install directory. By default, the SDK is installed in:

    C:\Program Files\Attachmate\evSDK.

  5. Select both Append Class Path and Auto-generate Class Path check boxes.

  6. Click OK to confirm the selected directory.
