Tanker Commands

Use the following commands with Tanker.

AX STATUS

To display the number of records filtered, the number of records written, and the current audit location, enter the following:

mixnumber AX STATUS

where mixnumber is the mix number of Tanker.

Tanker responds with the following messages:

DBTanker: nnnn records filtered (wwww written)

DBTanker: Audit Location: AFN = afn ABSN = absn

DBTanker: Audit time: audittimestamp

where nnnn is the number of records received from DBEngine and wwww is the total number of records written to the filtered audit files.

AX QUIT

Tanker is designed to stay in the mix. If you do need to terminate it, however, enter the following:

mixnumber AX QUIT

where mixnumber is the mix number of Tanker. Tanker will terminate at the end of the current transaction group.

AX HELP

To display the available Tanker AX commands, enter the following:

mixnumber AX HELP

where mixnumber is the mix number of Tanker.
