Syntax for Using Translation Tables

The GenFormat parameter file supplies you with several translation tables. To use a translation table, you must add the translation table name to a FORMAT, as in the following example

FORMAT myformattingroutine

translate translationtablename

where translationtablename is the name of a translation table. The following translation tables are predefined in the DATA/GENFORMAT/SAMPLE/CONTROL file on the release medium:
