Choosing the Service vs. the Command-Line ClientThe DATABridge Client provides two modes of operation. One mode lets you configure and run the Client from the Client Console where the service automates much of replication process. The other mode uses a command prompt (or terminal program) to run the dbutility program. For a comparison of these modes of operation, see Comparing the Client Service to Command-Line Operations. While this guide can be used with the either command-line or service-controlled Client, it is intended primarily for command-line Client operations. For information specific to the service-controlled Client, see the following topics in this chapter or refer to the Help in the DATABridge Client Console: | ||
