Use this parameter to make the define/redefine commands interpret the DIOPT_Use_LongDate bit in the di_options column of the DMS_ITEMS table as a request to use a data type of datetime2 instead of datetime. This eliminates the need to set the di_options bit DIOPT_Use_LongDate2 bit for every item that is to be mapped to a data type of datetime2.
