Specifying Location of Audit Files

Accessories can specify where DBEngine should look for audit files. The default is the pack stated in the DMSII CONTROL file.

• For any user-written accessory to look for audit files in a location other than the default, you must include the DBAUDITPACK (packname) call to tell DBEngine to look for audit files on packname.
• For Tanker, however, you can edit the AUDIT ON packname option in the parameter file. You might do this when you don’t run Tanker very often, such as running it only at night. In this case, the audit files are probably moved to a different location by the time you run Tanker (for example, to tape and then maybe to a pack that has extra space).
