Server MCP Disk Properties Dialog Box
Getting thereUse this dialog box to control how Enterprise Server accesses MCP disks. The system on which Enterprise Server is installed appears at the top of this dialog box.

Method for reading MCP disks
The options are as follows:

Direct disk with Windows caching |
Use this Direct Disk replication method to provide the fastest disk access and cloning. |

Direct disk without caching |
Use this Direct Disk replication method to avoid errors caused by delayed MCP disk writes. |
|
Indirect disk only |
Select this option only in cases where, for testing or other reasons, you must force Enterprise Server to use the Indirect Disk method when one or more MCP disks are visible. |
