Information tracing occurs via the default -t 1 or -t 0x1 command line option. The information messages include the following messages that are not displayed on the screen, as well as all messages that are displayed on the screen.

command line echo
Everything you type at the command line is echoed in the trace file.
Current date is: day month year
This is the date you entered the command. It is used to identify sections of the trace file as there might be several runs of dbutility logged to the same trace file.
Negotiated Protocol level = n, Host version n.n
This is the negotiated protocol level that the DATABridge Client and DBServer are using to communicate. For example, a protocol level 7 DATABridge Client and a protocol level 6 server use a negotiated protocol level of 6 in all communications.
