Recloning

To reclone a data set, you can use either the dbutility process command or the dbutility clone command. Reasons for recloning include the following:

  • DMSII reorganization
  • An update is not possible (for example, because a table does not have a unique key)
  • One or more of the DATABridge data tables in the relational database were removed

The difference between running dbutility clone and dbutility process is that with dbutility clone you can specify the data sets you want to reclone from the command line.
