Synchronization Properties (.NET or Java)

Note: This information applies only to Web applications created with a 6.0 or earlier version of Web Builder and is available for backward compatibility. You can continue to configure and build an application of this type, but you cannot create new projects with this feature set. See Support for Existing Projects for more information.

Use the Synchronization tab to configure how long to wait for the absence of data traveling to or from the host.

Duration
Specify how long the period of host silence will last before a new host screen is displayed. This time frame is calculated in milliseconds. Note: If you find that the Web application displays incomplete screens, increase the duration.

Timeout
Specify the maximum time to wait for a period of host silence before a new screen appears. If no host silence occurs during this interval, the screen appears. This time frame is calculated in seconds.
