Displaying Logs

The log records that are displayed are filtered by the criteria selected in the Log Viewer. Options that control the location of logs and the events that are captured are configured in the Administrative WebStation logging options panel.

In the log, errors are displayed in red text, warnings are displayed in blue text, and information messages are displayed in black text.

Log Viewer Options

The following buttons are displayed in the Log Viewer banner:

• Refresh: Updates the currently displayed log using the criteria previously specified in the Log Viewer options panel.
  
  
• Options: Opens the Log Viewer options panel.
  
  
• View Previous: Displays the previous page of log records. This option is available only when multiple-page logs are displayed and you are viewing page 2 or beyond.
  
  
• View Next: Displays the next page of log records. This option is available only when multiple-page logs are displayed and you are not viewing the final page of records.
  
  
• Help: Opens the Administrative WebStation help and displays this help topic.

Printing Logs

In Internet Explorer, you can print information displayed in the Log Viewer by right-clicking then frame you want to print, and then clicking print. Use this same method to print information displayed in the Administrative WebStation and the online help.
