This option allows you to configure the function that your Backspace key sends. On the VT terminal keyboard the backarrow key (<x) is configurable: It can send either a delete (ASCII 127) or a backspace (ASCII 8) character. In the Host Integrator, you can configure Backspace in the same manner.
Note: This setting is saved as part of the model's default settings, and will be used when initially connecting or resetting a session. Another setting, VT Backspace Sends, reflects the current terminal state, which can be changed by the host.
