Specifies which Telnet protocol is being used to communicate with the host. The value of this setting can change during a session. The values are:
| NVT | The Network Virtual Terminal protocol is in use. |
| TN3270 | Standard TN3270 protocol is in use. |
| TN3270E | Extended TN3270 protocol (RFC 1647) is in use. |
| TN5250 | Standard TN5250 protocol is in use. |
