HP Tab Stops Default

Use this setting to set and clear individual tab stops.

To set or clear a tab stop

  1. Using the mouse, cursor keys, or Spacebar, move the scroll bar to the desired column and click.

    2. A "T" appears on the ruler.

  2. Repeat the procedure until all tabs are set.
  3. To clear a single tab stop, click the tab position with the mouse (each click of the mouse toggles between setting a tab stop and clearing it).
Note: This setting is saved as part of the model's default settings, and will be used when initially connecting or resetting a session. Another setting, HP Tab Stops, reflects the current terminal state, which can be changed by the host.
