The Host Emulator Screen Traces Status dialog box tells you whether all operations in your model have been traced, which means they can be loaded into the Host Emulator to emulate your host application. The Host Emulator can simulate the behavior of a mainframe system, permitting you to debug and test your model in the absence of a live connection to the host.
The following symbols appear in the Host Emulator Screen Traces Status dialog
||All operations originating from this entity have screen traces recorded.|
||A screen trace has been recorded for this operation.|
||At least one operation originating from this entity is missing its screen trace.|
||This operation is missing its screen trace.|
To fix missing or inaccurate traces:
Tip: To synchronize a trace or to initiate a new trace if data changes and your Host Emulator trace is inaccurate, point to Host Emulator Recording on the Connection menu and select Overwrite Traces. Then, use the Entity window to navigate to the entity and select the operation in question from the Name box on the Operation tab. Click the Execute button to update the trace. Make sure to disable Overwrite Traces after you've updated the trace.
