Attribute Tab (Properties)

The Attribute tab contains some of the settings used to define attributes on a selected entity. If you've just added a new attribute to your model, the following options will be available:

• Name
• Start position
• End position

Next to the Name box, there are five buttons that allow a user to add a new attribute, delete the current one, check advanced attribute properties, test the selected attribute, or auto-generate attributes.

Notes:

• Auto-generating attributes simplifies the modeling process, but you may need to delete unneeded auto-generated attributes before copying your model to the Host Integrator Server.
• Attributes cannot be generated automatically for character mode hosts.
  

Attribute Properties Tab

The Attribute Properties tab contains the following options for configuring the basic properties of an attribute:

• Type
• Read
• Write

In addition, the following tabs are available to configure attributes:

• Attribute Variables tab
• Attribute Errors tab
• Attribute Operations tab
• Attribute Echo tab
