Web Builder Menu Options
There are three Web Builder menus:
Project Menu
The options that are available on the Project menu depend on the type of project
being generated. You can access these options from the Web Builder Project menu
or by right-clicking the project.
- New
Creates a new project.
- Launch Web Application in Browser (for web applications)
Opens the web application in the web browser.
- Launch Web Service Client (Java)
Launch Web Service Client in Browser
(.NET)
Opens a web client. This provides an interface for you to test the web service functionality. .
- Open in Visual Studio .NET
Open in Visual Basic
Opens the project code in Visual Studio .NET or a Visual Basic editor.
- Explore
Opens Windows Explorer to the folder containing the selected Web
Builder project.
- View Last Build Log
Opens the most recently generated log file. This option is available only
when the build process fails to complete.
- Rebuild
Rebuilds projects from a selected starting point.
- Deploy/Undeploy (for Java web applications and web services)
Copies or removes the web application to the local web server; does not remove
the project files from the project folder. This option is for Java Web Builder projects
only.
- Delete
Removes all project files from both the project folder and the Web server.
- Properties
Lists the properties of the project and provides options for changing
these properties.
- Default Project Properties
Specifies the default settings Web Builder uses to generate a project.
- Exit
Closes Web Builder.
Options Menu
- Web Builder Settings
Lists properties that are common to all projects of a given type
and that are used by Web Builder when generating a Web Builder project. Provides options
for changing these properties.
- User-Defined Project Types
Lists any user-defined project types and enables you to create a
project type that defines the properties you want in each new project of that
type.
Help Menu
- Help
Accesses online help.
- About
Lists installation and version information about Verastream Host Integrator.
