Configuring an HP Session

If you set the Session Type to HP Terminal and the Transport Type to Telnet or NS/VT, the following options are available in the Session Setup and New Model dialog box.

After you connect, you can review these settings in the Connection Properties dialog box.

Session Type
Model ID
Transport Type
Host Name or IP Address
Port Number
Advanced Telnet Dialog Box

Note: If you are connecting to an HP terminal using Telnet as your transport type, use an event command like WaitForNewHostScreen between HP TransmitTerminalKey commands in operations.
