Because modeling character mode host applications can be different from modeling block mode host applications, the Design Tool provides some helpful configuration options to help you before you begin the modeling process. To view a model example of a VT host application, see the Pine model located in your \<VHI install directory>\models folder.

You can use Web Builder to quickly and easily generate a web application or component interface such as a web service or JavaBeans, based on the table of a host application model, or based on a host application screen layout.
