Using SIDemo

The SIDemo model is an example of a 3270 host application model and includes the following folders:

SIDemo — A model of an IBM 3270 host application.
SIDemoMaster — The version of SIDemo to be used with the Host Emulator. This master model is configured on port 1098.

This model can simulate the selection of multiple records in a recordset and the insertion of a new record into a recordset. To view examples of testing recordset selection and insertion, open the Test Recordset dialog box.

Note: If you see the message "Host refused to connect.." you may have a port conflict with another application. You can try to close other applications that may be using that port. Otherwise, you can change the port number for model. This approach requires that you also change the port number in the Host Emulator.
