Host Code Pages
A host code page is a table of numeric codes used by the mainframe to represent language-specific characters such as ç and ø. To display characters correctly, you must select the code page actually used by your host.
Code page translation in the Bridge Integrator uses Java functionality and defaults to Cp037. To modify this, set com.attachmate.cicsbridge.host.codepage
in the properties file. Each jar file can have a properties file that goes with it and is located in the same directory as the jar file. Click here to see a list of supported encodings for Java 6.
See your system administrator if you are not sure which code page to use.
