BridgeAPI is a Java interface object that provides access to CICS transaction resources via the CICS Bridge. Methods exposed are based on the Attachmate QACOM API set, with extensions for the CICS Bridge and its capabilities.

The VBI Scripting language is Java-based code that can be generated and compiled within, or external to, the Bridge Designer, and then executed on the mainframe. Using VBI Script you can send and retrieve data from the host in a single trip. The methods, classes, and other important information on how to use this scripting language is available here:
