Editing API Calls

Many of the API Calls view features can be accessed through the right-click menu, which also shows the keyboard shortcuts. You can edit a selected API call by:

Changing the related input and output parameters in the Properties view
Deleting it
Moving it up or down within the list of API calls associated with the current screen
-or-
Cutting, copying, pasting it

To edit an API call

In the API Calls view of the designer, select the API call that you want to edit.

Choose an action.

To	Do this
Change related input and output parameters	In the Properties view, type the new parameters.
Delete the API call	Press the Delete key.
Change the order in which the call will execute	Click the Move Up or Move Down buttons (or ALT-ARROW on the keyboard).
Cut, copy, or paste	Use the right-click menu or the standard keyboard shortcuts.
