Inserting API Calls

You can add API calls to your project by recording host interactions, or by manually inserting the API calls.

You can insert any of the Bridge API calls anywhere into your project.

To insert an API call
  1. In the API Calls view of the designer, right-click the screen where you want to insert the API call.

    -or-

    Right-click the API call that will precede the new call in your project.

    -or-

    If your project includes no screens or API calls, right-click anywhere in the API Calls view.

  2. Select one of the following from the context menu.
    If
    		 From the Context menu
    You want to learn more about the APIs before you choose an API call to insert Select Browse APIs.

    This will open a dialog box that describes each of the API calls and their parameters, and from which you can insert an API call
    You know the API call you want Select Insert API, then, from the submenu, choose the API call you want to insert.

    When the API call you selected is inserted, the Properties view activates, so that you can provide parameter values.
