Adding Run-time Servers in MCS

After starting the Runtime Service on your server (referred to as a "run-time server"), you must add it to MCS. You can then create configuration files for that server. The Runtime Service starts automatically after installation.

To add a new run-time server to MCS
  1. Start the Runtime Service that you want to add to MCS, if it has not already started.

    For information about starting a Runtime Service, see Starting and Stopping Run-time Servers.

  2. In the MCS left pane, point to Products and then click Services Builder for IMS.

  3. Under Services Builder for IMS, click Runtime Servers.

  4. In the MCS right pane, on the Runtime Servers page, click New.

  5. From the New Server - Information page, type the information requested in the fields provided.
To copy, edit, or delete a run-time server
  1. In the MCS left pane, point to Products and then click Services Builder for IMS.

  2. Under Services Builder for IMS, click Runtime Servers.

  3. Select the server you want to copy, edit, or delete, then click the appropriate button in the lower right corner of the Runtime Servers page.
