Choose Download Options

From the Choose Download Options page, available when you are using SunOne or WebLogic, you can either download the EJB JAR and connector RAR files, or download the EJB client JAR file.

Choose Download Options

Task File:  The task file you selected to package on the Selected Task File and Application Server page.

Application Server:  The application server you selected to download to on the Selected Task File and Application Server page. Depending on the application server you selected you will have different options.

State Management Mode:  This option is available for screen-based hosts. Services Builder for IMS supports stateless EJBs.

J2EE Session EJB JNDI Name:  The JNDI name listed on the Session EJB Deployments page.

These options are specific to WebLogic or SunOne application servers. If you are using WebSphere or Oracle application servers the client JAR is not available.

This option	Does this
Download EJB JAR and Connector RAR	Downloads both the EJB JAR and connector RAR files to the location you select when prompted. These files are now available for use in your applications.
Download EJB client JAR	Downloads the EJB client JAR for use in J2EE application clients.

The EJB client JAR for a WebLogic application is available after completion of the New/Edit Wizard. The EJB client JAR for a SunOne application is not available until after the EJB JAR is deployed. When manually deploying to SunOne, if you download the EJB JAR and deploy it manually through the application server administrator, the EJB client JAR will be available in the C:\Sun\AppServer7\domains\domain1\server1\applications\j2ee-modules\ directory. The typical naming convention used when naming EJB client JARs is the J2EE Session EJB JNDI name plus Client.jar.

Select Download to begin downloading the file you selected.
