Use this page to assign tasks to the host connection. For Services Builder for IMS to provide host access to your application through a task, the task must be identified and assigned to both the Runtime Service configuration and the client configuration. Each set of connection settings must have one or more tasks assigned to it. See Associating Tasks with Run-time Servers for more information.
Task IDs Assigned to this IMS Connection The table lists the tasks assigned to this host connection. A unique task ID is assigned to each task as it is recorded in the designer, where it is called a Task Definition. By default, task definition names are based on the names of the host program definitions they use.
Click this... To do this... Add Displays the Add Task ID dialog box. You can add a new task ID to the list of task IDs assigned to this IMS connection. Task IDs should always match the name of a task definition created in the designer. Edit The Edit Task ID dialog box displays. You can edit the selected task ID from the list of task IDs assigned to this IMS connection. Remove Removes the selected task ID from the list.
