Site-Specific Information

You need the following site-specific information before you begin installing the data engine.

• HLQ for Install Files (&HLQ)

  This is also &YOUR in the &YOUR.INSTALL.LIB reference in the UNLOAD JCL program.

• SYSYDA Name (&SYSYDA)

• CICS SDFHLOAD Library Location Name (&DFHLOD)

  The library containing DFHCSDUP.

• The prefix to the CSD for the target region (&CICSREG)

• The desired TCP port for client access (&PORT)

  Attachmate recommends and has reserved port 2317.

• The desired Clean up transaction (&TRAN)

  Attachmate recommends ATMC as the Clean up Transid. The value must match the value used in the configuration macro for the Converter (XTR1A001).

• The desired Attachmate Test transaction (&SAMPTRAN)

  ATM1 is the suggested value, but this can be changed to any four-character TransID that is desired.

• The desired RDO group name (&CICSDEF)

• SMPVOL Name (&SMPVOL)

• Location of SMP Install Files(&SMQ)

  This is normally the same as the value for HLQ.

• Product Library DASD Volume Name (&PRDVOL)

• CEE.SCEELKED Library Location (&CEELKD)

• Location for runtime XTRA100X Files

  This is a CICS library that will be used to load the CICS Bridge server files when the CICS region is started.
