Configuring Your Development Environment

To integrate tasks with your applications, your development environment must be configured properly. Certain JARs and libraries are needed for compilation and to run sample code. The Task Builder install and the client install both provide these files.

Then this
Develop your applications on the computer on which Task Builder or Runtime Service for CICS is installed No additional installation is necessary. However, if you are developing or running a Java client application you must edit your class path to include the items described in this topic, Enabling Client Access to Run-time Servers.
Develop your applications on a computer other than the computer on which Task Builder or Runtime Service for CICS is installed Run the client installer from the product CD (or copy a CD image to a network location, and run the client installer from there). If you are developing or running a Java client application you must also edit your class path to include the items described in this topic, Enabling Client Access to Run-time Servers.
