Adding .NET Web Services to .NET Projects

Once you've deployed your .NET Web service, you need to add it to your .NET Visual Studio project to create an application that lets your users access the host functionality built into your task.

To access a .NET Web service from your .NET project
  1. Open your Visual Studio project.

  2. Add a web reference to the WSDL.

  3. Create a web reference object.

  4. In a "try - catch," instantiate the web reference object.

  5. Create input objects.

  6. Execute the task.

  7. Get outputs.

Before you run your application, make sure that CICSConnectorProxy Service is running.
