Use the New Local LU dialog box to supply the information needed to configure a new local LU for your SNA Gateway system. A local LU is an independent logical unit that is used to establish sessions through which the local and remote transaction programs (partner LUs) can converse.
The new local LU's configuration parameter is required and must contain a valid value.
Local LU: A unique local LU name. This is a name that defines an independent logical unit (LU). This name is coordinated with the partner LU name to establish a local LU-partner LU session to support a host connection. The name can be up to 8 characters in length.
