Connecting to VT Hosts

You can configure your host connection when you first create your project. Also, you can modify the configuration later. Connection settings are saved in projects. Use the Host menu or the Connect/Disconnect toggle button on the toolbar to connect or disconnect from the host.

To connect to VT hosts
From the Host menu, choose Connection Settings. If you are creating a new project, the Connection Settings dialog box displays automatically after you choose your host type. On the General page of the Connection Settings dialog box, type the host alias or IP address into the Host Alias/IP Address field. Modify the other settings if necessary. Click the Help button on the Connection Settings dialog box for detailed information on all the various connection options. Click OK.

To connect to VT hosts

From the Host menu, choose Connection Settings.
