Troubleshooting ID Management

If you have problems using ID management, follow these steps.

To troubleshoot ID management
  1. Verify that the server meets the minimum system requirements necessary to use this product.

  2. If you're using ID management with a Synapta Services Builder, make sure you assigned IDs only to named pools, the lease and inactivity timeouts are 0, and none of the IDs specify a host name.

  3. Make sure the client configuration is set up properly.

    For example, make sure that the session configuration or application specifies using ID management. Make sure the pool name in the configuration matches a pool name in MCS.

  4. Make sure the lease and inactivity timeouts are set to zero (0).

  5. If you cannot identify and solve the problem without assistance, contact your product distributor.
