- If necessary, create your WebLogic domain.
If you use WebLogic, your WebLogic domain must exist before you begin the installation. If you need to create a new domain, do so using one of the methods provided by BEA.
- Insert the product CD into the CD-ROM drive.
If the setup utility does not run automatically, browse to the appropriate folder for your component, and double-click autosetup.exe.
- Review the Getting Started Guide.
The Getting Started Guide provides links to more detailed installation instructions and an overview of Synapta products.
- Select the component you want to install.
After installing your selected component, you can return to this selection screen and install other Synapta components.
- Type the access code for your product, and then click Next.
The access code is located on the CD package or on the Attachmate Software License Agreement.
- Review the license agreement and, if you agree, select I Accept the Terms of the License Agreement.
- Respond to the subsequent prompts.
