Add a New Run-time Server to MCS

This process provides MCS with the information needed to access the run-time server, allowing you to use MCS to configure and monitor Runtime Services for Screens. The Runtime Service must be started before you can add it in MCS. It is started automatically after installation, and thereafter when you start the run-time server.

To add a new run-time server to MCS
  1. In the MCS left pane, point to Products and then click Services Builder for Screens.

  2. Under Services Builder for Screens, click Servers.

  3. On the Servers page, click the New Server link.

  4. On the New Server - Information page, type the information requested in the fields provided.

    To change the RMI port address, you must change the RMI port on the Runtime Service server and then enter the new RMI port address here.
