Use the options in the Pool Scheduler dialog box to automate starting and stopping pools. You can set the pool scheduler up to handle weekends, holidays, evening hours; any schedule that meets your business requirements.
To display the Pool Scheduler dialog box, in the Server pane, select a server and choose Configure. On the Pools page, select a pool and choose Pool Scheduler.
Global Refresh Interval: The amount of time, in milliseconds, to wait before checking for changes in the schedule. By default, pools check for changes every 60000 milliseconds (10 minutes).
Enable Scheduler: Select this option to use the values set in this dialog box to automatically start and stop your pool. After the pool has been started, it will be started and stopped according to the schedule you set. However, if you manually stop a pool, the scheduler will not automatically restart it. To start the pool, in the Monitor - Pools page, choose Change State.
Schedule Options for Pool:
Start Time: Specify the time the pool is to start. The format of this value is hh:mm. Hour values can range from 00 to 23. Minute values can range from 00 to 59.
Stop Time: Specify the time the pool is to stop. The format of this value is hh:mm. Hour values can range from 00 to 23. Minute values can range from 00 to 59.
Start Days: Select the days of the week that the pool will be started. You can select any or all days.
Stop Days: Select the days of the week that the pool will be stopped. You can select any or all days.
