Use the System page to access general system tracking information for your server.
To display the System page, in the left pane of the MCS window, select a server and choose Monitor. In the right pane of the MCS window, select the System tab.
Server Last Started: Displays the date and time the server was last started. Errors and transactions are tracked from the date the server was last started, and cleared only when the server is stopped.
A transaction is a single screen transition. Whenever an AID key is sent, a transition occurs. Each screen transition is counted as a transaction. A task can include one or more transactions.
Number of Active Sessions: Current active sessions running on the server as of the last refresh.
Number of Allocation Failures: The total number of allocation (failure to connect) failures since the server was last started.
Number of Errors: Total number of errors (session did not complete) since the server was last started.
Transactions in Last Minute: The total number of transactions completed in the last minute.
Total Transactions: Total number of transactions that have been completed since the server was last started.
Average Transactions per Minute: The total number of transactions divided by the time (in minutes) the server has been running.
Refresh Rate: Select a refresh rate, ranging from No Refresh to 30 minutes. The refresh rate applies to all monitoring functions and defaults to one minute. Set the rate to refresh more often (5 seconds, for example) to make the monitoring function more useful.
