When creating a pool, use this page to enter a name and description of the pool.
To display this page, in the left pane of the MCS (Management & Control Services) window, select a server, then choose Configure. In the right pane of the MCS window, choose Pools. On the Pools page, choose New.
Name: Type a name for your pool. |
To use a default pool configuration, use the same name as the NavMap associated with this pool. If you use a different name, additional configuration will be necessary. See Changing Configuration Information for instructions. |
Description: (Optional) Type a description of the pool. The information you type is displayed on the Pools page under Select Pool to Configure.
Pool Type: Select the host type of the pool you are configuring. You can select either Unisys, IBM, or VT host types.
