Rule Editor

The Rule editor manages individual settings for four different types of controls: labels, text fields, buttons, and Web links. Rules are operations that occur during the conversion from host screen data into Web applications.

Rule Name: Enter a new name for the rule.

Caution Rule names must consist of valid characters: A to Z, a to z, 0 to 9, _ (underscore character), and - (hyphen).

Description: Enter a description for this rule (optional).

Field Match: Lists the items and values of the matching parameters for this rule. Before you can make a change to an item, you must first activate it (select the check box to the left of it) — you can then make changes from the Value column.
