Color Mapping Editor

Color Mapping describes on-the-fly color conversion of text, controls, foregrounds, and backgrounds from the colors in which they appear on the host screen to the colors the application designer sets for them (the colors the users will see in the application).

With the Color Mapping editor, each host color has a corresponding application color. These color pairs identify the color conversions that occur when the screen is downloaded from the host.

Note Host colors are industry standards, and cannot be changed. It is possible, however, to change the application colors using the Color Chooser.

Color Mapping List

Host: Lists all colors available from the host.

Application: Originally displays colors matching those from the Host column. To change a color, you double-click it from the Application column (the Color Chooser displays, from which you can select the color you want). The new color is displayed in the Application column.
