The Table Column editor presents everything you need to control the appearance of a table control. You can customize the overall size of a table control by adjusting the width of individual columns, or by displaying or hiding, or adding or removing columns. You can also tailor the appearance of the columns within your tables, modifying the various properties as desired.

Column list: The columns defined for the selected table control.
Add button: Adds a column to the table control.
Delete button: Removes the selected column from the table control.
Column Properties Pane
Displays a two-column list that shows the properties for the column currently selected in the column list.

Column Name: (Read-only) The name of the column. The column names (for example, Column1, Column2, Column3, and so on) are generated automatically when the columns are created.
This name cannot be changed, as it must be accessed by the rules (for further details, see Table Rules Syntax).
Column Header: The heading displayed at the top of the selected column.
Column Width: The width of the column, in pixels.
Visible: Determines whether the column is displayed or hidden. Select True to display the column, or False to hide it.
Header Foreground: Indicates the color of the characters in the header cell for the entire table control. Double-click the displayed value to change it. You can choose to change the color for a single column header or for the entire header row.
Header Background: Indicates the color of the background in the header cells for the entire table control. Double-click the displayed value to change it. You can choose to change the color for a single column header or for the entire header row.
Header Font: Indicates the font used for the text in the header cells for the entire table control. You can choose to change the font for a single column header or for the entire header row.
Data Alignment: Select Left, Center, or Right alignment for data in the selected column.
